Fillers / Cappers
“Capping is usually the most difficult aspect of a packaging line for several reasons. Sometimes the range of geometries and sizes of caps and bottles is so wide that the capping machine components become expensive or the platform of the machine is not suitable for all sizes in the range. Sometimes the bottle and cap combination are not ideal with the threads of the bottle being in conflict with the threads of the cap. Sometimes, caps can only be placed vertically on the container which increases the capital cost of the machinery. BOEHM Automation understands these issues very well and has a machine to address every one of these capping challenges. We specialize in capping machines for both startup companies as well as higher speed production capacity up to 200 containers per minute. There are many different technologies and capacities of filling machines available on the world market. Filling machine capacities range from the humble manual filler operating at 3 bottles per minute to high speed rotary systems operating at 1000+ bottles per minute. Some very expensive technologies are beyond the reach of most small to medium sized bottling operations. Some very cheap filling machines with poor technology cost their owners more to maintain and often result in production downtime or quality issues due to continuous adjustments needed. How do you choose which one will serve your immediate production needs as well as your future needs?
Inline Filling Systems specializes in filling machines for both startup companies as well as higher speed production capacity up to 200 containers per minute. Although there are many different types of filling technologies, we have embraced only those technologies that are the most practical and the most cost effective to own and operate.
After building many different filling machines for over 10 years and operating our own fillers in a contract packaging environment, we have decided to offer only those technologies which provide the best versatility, flexibility and reliability for the cost. The filling machines we offer are listed below with links to more information that will help you understand how to select the type and capacity filler you need for your operations.”
Inline Filling Systems
Inline Filling Systems Belt Capping Machine
Fully automatic inline capper applies and torques caps onto containers.
Inline Filling Systems Automatic Chuck Capping Systems
These machines are often used for caps that can only be vertically placed on a container.
Inline Filling Systems Overflow Fillers
This type of filler is best suited for liquids with low to medium viscosity. liquids with solid particulates not exceeding 1/16" can also be filled. Note that overflow fillers are the machine of choice in handling very foamy products at higher speeds.
Inline Filling Systems Servo Pump Fillers
This is the flagship filler of our company and the industry in general. It is extremely flexible and designed to fill almost any product in any fill volume. Even 55 gallon drums can be filled.
Inline Filling Systems Peristsltic Filling Machines
Specifically designed for high value, small volume fills at very high accuracy. Suitable for aqueous and other light viscosity products.
Inline Filling Systems Time Gravity Fillers
This type of filler is best suited for liquids with very thin viscosities that do not change with ambient temperature or with batch variation. This machine is also suited for applications where recirculation of the liquid in the fluid path is not desireable. Although this type of filler is used predominantly on products that do not foam, foam may be limited and controlled by subsurface/bottom-up-fill capability.
Inline Filling Systems Piston Fillers
This type of piston filler is best suited for viscous products that are paste, semi paste, or chunky with large particlates. These piston fillers are built to meet food grade standards and can also handle various chemical applications.
Inline Filling Systems Automatic 5 Gallon / Pail Fillers
Automatically filling of pails of most volume.
Inline Filling Systems Accumulation Tables
Accumulation tables are designed to off load production onto a wider and slower moving area for mass accumulation. In the case of hot fill packaging, this allows the (typically glass) containers to be washed or cooled of en masse for further processing downstream or simply staged for pack off.
